Abu Dhabi Aviation in cooperation with Leonardo conducted today the very first helicopter Sustainable Aviation Fuel flight in the Middle East & North African Region.

Abu Dhabi Aviation (ADA) are the leading helicopter operator in the MENA region. In support of the UN Climate Change Conference COP 28, to be held in the UAE at Dubai Expo City starting 30^th Nov, ADA have in coordination with Leonardo operated the very first helicopter Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) flight in the MENA region. The aircraft that operated was a Leonardo AW139. The first SAF flight was today & again a second flight shall be during COP 28. SAF operations contribute greatly to a reduction in harmful gas emissions from aircraft. It is hoped that in the near future SAF shall be readily available throughout the UAE.  ADA are very proud to take this initiative to support the UAE COP 28 event.
